Jellyburbs is part of the South & Proud Festival 2020, a new community festival to celebrate Southill’s rich architecture.
Following the success of Jellytown in Kinsale Arts Festival Architect Peter Carroll from A2 Architects presents Jellyburbs Southill. Come and join us for a family workshop where young children and their parents will re-imagine Southill in a fun and exiting way using jelly!
This event is suitable for families with children between the ages 3-6 years. Parent/Guardian must participate in the workshop.
The GAFF is delighted to announce revised dates for South & Proud, a new community arts festival for Southill which will now take place on September 18th, 19th and 20th.
Presented in collaboration with Southill Hub and Tait House, supported by The Arts Council and Limerick Council Arts Office, the original dates were reviewed due to COVID-19.
The festival features music performances, an exhibition, a People’s Kitchen as well as garden events and screenings all based around the architecture of Southill. Drawing workshops for adults, dance and drama workshops for young people will take place during the festival.
